Welcome

Hi! I'm Lindsay and welcome to my page! I was born and raised in New Jersey, which is where I currently reside with my husband Justin, and our two dogs, Leo and Penelope.

Growing up food was always a big part of my life. I spent most of my childhood in the kitchen baking all sorts of sweet treats, thinking about my next meal, and to this day I will always save room for dessert!

I graduated from the French Culinary Institute in 2005 with a degree in Pastry Arts, and have worked in some of New York City's most prestigious restaurants.

I started this blog to share all of the delicious recipes that I have created over the years.

Thanks for stopping by!

What's better then warm banana bread fresh from the oven? Warm banana bread with gooey swirls of nutella baked into it! Take your banana bread to the next level with this recipe!

Nutella Swirl Banana Bread

230 g all purpose flour (1 3/4 cup)

150 g granulated sugar (3/4 cup)

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 tsp cinnamon

2 eggs

113 g sour cream (1/2 cup)

454 g mashed ripe bananas (1 1/2 cups)

250 g nutella (3/4 cup)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Butter and flour a 8 inch loaf pan.

Mix all the dry ingredients together.

Whisk together eggs, bananas, and sour cream. Mix into dry ingredients just until combined.

Place half the batter into your loaf pan and dollop the Nutella throughout. Place the remaining batter over the Nutella and with a knife make a swirling motion throughout the batter.

Bake for approximately 45-60 minutes, or until a cake tester comes out clean. Un mold onto a cooling rack immediately.

Enjoy with butter, jam, or more Nutella!
