Hi! I'm Lindsay and welcome to my page! I was born and raised in New Jersey, which is where I currently reside with my husband Justin, and our two dogs, Leo and Penelope.

Growing up food was always a big part of my life. I spent most of my childhood in the kitchen baking all sorts of sweet treats, thinking about my next meal, and to this day I will always save room for dessert!

I graduated from the French Culinary Institute in 2005 with a degree in Pastry Arts, and have worked in some of New York City's most prestigious restaurants.

I started this blog to share all of the delicious recipes that I have created over the years.

Thanks for stopping by!

M&M Sugar Cookies

M&M Sugar Cookies

Sometimes you just want something a little more colorful then your average sugar cookie. These crunchy sugar cookies were made with M&M minis. Regular M&Ms would work just fine, but the minis are SO much cuter!

M&M Sugar Cookies

130 g butter (2 sticks)

337 g sugar (1 1/2 cups)

2 eggs

280 g all purpose flour ( 2 1/4 cups)

25 g cornstarch (3 TBL)

200 g M&M minis (1 cup)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, add eggs one by one until emulsified. Add vanilla extract.

Add flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined. Mix in M&M minis by hand, being careful not to overwork the dough.

Spoon cookie dough (about 1 tbl size each) onto a parchment lined cookie sheet, giving them a few inches apart (they will spread when baking).

Bake 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges.
