Hi! I'm Lindsay and welcome to my page! I was born and raised in New Jersey, which is where I currently reside with my husband Justin, and our two dogs, Leo and Penelope.

Growing up food was always a big part of my life. I spent most of my childhood in the kitchen baking all sorts of sweet treats, thinking about my next meal, and to this day I will always save room for dessert!

I graduated from the French Culinary Institute in 2005 with a degree in Pastry Arts, and have worked in some of New York City's most prestigious restaurants.

I started this blog to share all of the delicious recipes that I have created over the years.

A winter variation on the classic champagne cocktail.

Cranberry Orange Champagne Cocktail

Champagne of your choice

Angostura Bitters

Orange peel

Cranberry Orange sugar cubes (recipe below)

Pour champagne into glasses and drop a sugar cube into the bottom of each glass. Pour 3-4 drops of bitters into each glass and garnish with an orange twist. Cheers!

Cranberry Orange Sugar Cubes

70 g granulated sugar

5 fresh cranberries

zest of 1 orange

In a mixing bowl crush the cranberries and zest into the sugar to release their juices. Mixture will be very wet. On parchment paper, pack sugar into a 4 inch square, carefully cut into small cubes. Leave out uncovered for 2-3 days until completely dry.
