Welcome

Hi! I'm Lindsay and welcome to my page! I was born and raised in New Jersey, which is where I currently reside with my husband Justin, and our two dogs, Leo and Penelope.

Growing up food was always a big part of my life. I spent most of my childhood in the kitchen baking all sorts of sweet treats, thinking about my next meal, and to this day I will always save room for dessert!

I graduated from the French Culinary Institute in 2005 with a degree in Pastry Arts, and have worked in some of New York City's most prestigious restaurants.

I started this blog to share all of the delicious recipes that I have created over the years.

Thanks for stopping by!

If magic bars and a chocolate chip cookie had a baby.

Skillet Baked Magic Cookie

225 g sugar

115 g softened butter

1 egg

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp baking powder

130 g all purpose flour

80 g semi sweet chocolate chips

40 g unsweetened shredded coconut

50 g chopped walnuts

4 TBL condensed milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Add egg and mix until fully combined.

Add flour, baking powder, salt, chocolate chips, coconut, and walnuts. Mix until all the dry is incorporated. Do not over mix.

Spread the cookie dough in a 10 inch cast iron skillet. Sprinkle with extra chocolate chips, coconut, and walnuts if desired. Drizzle condensed milk over the top of the cookie dough.

Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until the center of the cookie is set.

Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
